In The Word

I've been feeling like I need to start a Bible Study over again that my dad teaches periodically. So I thought I might do it with a blog. Take a little at a time. Every time I start this study I learn something different. That's why God's Word is so powerful. It is a living breathing Word. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will be our teacher. So my prayer for this time is that the Holy Spirit will give me the knowledge to grasp the information I was not mature enough to understand last time. The beginning of this study starts with The War. It is titled this because there is a war going on for your soul in the spiritual realm. The enemy starts this fight in your mind. The biggest thing that I have learned as a Christian is to recognize when the enemy is trying to control my thoughts. The Bible reads out of the heart the mouth speaks. So if you are constantly thinking and dwelling on things of the World or you are allowing the enemy to condemn you for your past or mistakes that you have made or are making you are allowing the enemy to win that battle. When you can control this battle for your mind. Peace will be golden, and you will be amazed at the change that will take place. This study means different things to different people depending on where you are with your walk. I am ready for some depth for a change to come about. I am always looking at change as a positive move. God has taught me through the years that He knows better than I do and if I will truly seek His face, He will direct my path. I can say from experience and first hand knowledge if you truly give all of yourself He can do more than you could ever imagine.
